CLIR-SRR-ADVERTISING / Clir Media will manage the public radio stations’ advertising space

Bucharest (MEDIA EXPRES) / March 24, 2009 / The media agency Clir Media will manage the advertising space of the public radio stations starting April 2009, and until December 2011, according to a press release issued by the National Radio Company (SRR).


The commission of the agency will be 24%, and the guaranteed advertising income, E2.4 million (without taxes).


The procedure, which was launched by the SRR on March 24, 2009, at 12.00 PM, was attended by three companies: Clir Media Group, Arbo Media Net and Newsline Media House.


However, says the press release, only the first company of the three had included all the required documentation inside the presentation they sent SRR. The documents sent by Arbo Media Net and Newsline Media House have been incomplete.


SRR asked from the companies that wanted to manage the advertising space of the public radio channels that they guarantee at least E600,000 for the period April 1st 2009 – December 31st 2009, E800,000 for January 1st 2010 – December 31st 2010 and E1 million for January 1st 2011 – December 31st 2011.


Clir Media is owned by the media group Intact, which is controlled by the Voiculescu family. The group also owns the second most viewed TV station in Romania, Antena 1, as well as other TV and radio channels, and also newspapers and magazines. (AC)
