PRESS RELEASE / MEDIA EXPRES is a media partner for the Broadband Cable Convention 2003

Bucharest (MEDIA EXPRES) / October 8, 2003 / MEDIA EXPRES and the Cable Communications Association (ACC) proudly announce the conclusion of a media partnership contract for the Broadband Cable Convention 2003, which will take place on November 10 and 11, at the Marriott Grand Hotel in Bucharest.

“The fact that MEDIA EXPRES has been chosen as a media partner honours us and confirms for a second time, after last year´s premiere, that we are recognized as the publication with the largest audience in the cable and audiovisual media industry. Our presence within the Conference, at the Broadband exhibition and among the equipment and television programme providers, will strengthen the image of MEDIA EXPRES as a partner, an integrated part and a content provider for the top management staff of the cable communication and broadcasting industry“, declared Mihai Pavelescu, the Editor of MEDIA EXPRES.

“We expect the annual meeting of the communication industry to bring back together the most important companies in the sector, and MEDIA EXPRES is the first of the on paper and electronic press organization that was dedicated exclusively to the communication and audiovisual industry. We will work together for our common interest, which is to inform, to change ideas and last but not least, to satisfy our clients “, declared Radu Petric, the ACC President.

MEDIA EXPRES is a monthly niche magazine dedicated to the cable communications, as well as the television and radio stations in Romania. The project started in March 2003 with help from the Phare programme, aiming to easen the communication among the people interested in the communications and audiovisual sector. Having now reached the 43rd issue, the publication is distributed at a national coverage by subscription and private press distributors. The Cable Communication Association (www.cablu.org) ia a non-profit organization that records 79 members. Among the goals that the Association is tryind to reach is a benefic economic and legal climate for the investments in the communication cable field, as well as the endorsement of the problems that the cable operators come across and that the ACC are trying to solve. ACC has traditionally organised the Romanian Broadband Cable Convention since 1995.
